The NASUWT teaching union has informed Swansea Council that it intends to stage localised industrial strike action at all secondary schools in Swansea on Thursday 13 July 2023.
We have been informed by the council that they are continuing dialogue with the union to try to avert this action but feel we need to give you advance notice so that you can make alternative arrangements should it take place.
We are not yet in a position to know which classes/year groups will be affected if the strike proceeds on Thursday but will update you as soon as we can.
We will contact you again next week to confirm if the strike action is taking place.
