Welcome to the Friends of Morriston Comprehensive School
Morriston school PTFA extend a very warm welcome to parents, grandparents, friends and carers of pupils at Morriston Comprehensive School.
The PTFA at MCS is very active and has gained momentum in the short period of time it has been set up. Our main objective is to successfully raise funds for the school, of which all pupils benefit. These funds will be used to purchase equipment that will enhance the learning and school environment. Generally, purchases made will be for items, equipment and facilities that do not fall within the school budget. The ongoing success of the PTFA is only possible with the support received from parents, carers through planning and attending the PTFA fundraising events and social activities.
Meetings are generally held half-termly at the school but occasionally will be held at external locations.
Being a member of the PTFA gives you the opportunity to meet other parents and keep in touch with projects and developments around the school. Any help, be it large or small, frequent or infrequent, is always gratefully received.
