Our Specialist Teaching Facility caters for pupils with moderate to severe learning difficulties. Admission to the facility is determined by the recommendation of the City and County of Swansea Additional Learning Needs panel.
Our specially trained staff create a positive, nurturing environment where pupils are supported to meet their potential through a balance of mainstream classes and specialist lessons within the STF. We aim to see our pupils develop into happy, confident young people and provide a holistic curriculum which includes sessions in life skills, social skills and wellbeing in addition to structured lessons to help prepare them for greater independence in their adult lives.
Within the STF, we passionately believe in inclusion and encourage the children to become actively involved in extra-curricular activities within our mainstream setting which allows them to develop their individual talents and participate fully in all areas of school life.
