Overview
Further Mathematics is taught in affiliation with Bishop Vaughn School. For the more-able mathematicians we offer courses at AS and A2. Both are taken in addition to A-Level syllabus in Mathematics.
The courses are designed for those who:
– Find sufficient enjoyment in Mathematics to wish to develop the subject beyond the usual A-Level extent and depth.
– Want to keep open the option of pursuing a Higher Education course in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering or Economics
A-Level Further Mathematics requires the study of Five further modules (3 AS and 2A2).
– AS: Unit 1, Unit 2 and Unit 3
– A2: Unit 4 and either Unit 5 or Unit 6
