DESCRIPTION:We would like to invite you to attend the Year 9 Options Evening in Morriston Comprehensive School on Monday 2nd February\, 15:30 – 18:00. The evening will combine the Options Fayre and Progress Evening for core subjects. \n\nA presentation to pupils and parents about the option program and the Key Stage 4 curriculum will be made in the theatre at 16:00. It will be repeated at 17:30.\n\nThe Options Fayre will run from 15:30 – 18:00. This will be an opportunity to speak with subject teachers about the option courses. This is more informal so there is no need to book appointment times. \n\nThe Progress Evening for the core subjects; English\, Mathematics\, Science and Welsh will run from 15:30 – 18:00. This trip promises a mix of adventure\, fun\, and opportunities to practise Welsh in a vibrant setting.\nPupils will enjoy scenic walks along the stunning coastal path\, explore caves\, and take in the beauty of Llangrannog beach. Back at the camp\, there will be plenty of exciting activities\, including Welsh Bingo\, lively Twmpath dancing\, visits to the Urdd shop\, and energetic sports such as crab football\, volleyball\, basketball\, and dodgeball.\nThe adventure will continue with thrilling outdoor challenges like quad biking\, high ropes\, low ropes\, and an escape room experience. For those who love speed and excitement\, go-karting\, skiing\, and tobogganing will provide unforgettable moments. Evenings will be filled with entertainment\, including discos and quizzes\, creating the perfect atmosphere for fun and friendship.\nTo round off the experience\, pupils will have the chance to try abseiling\, wall climbing\, swimming\, and archery before heading home with amazing memories.\nThis trip is all about adventure\, teamwork\, and making lasting friendships.
